5 cups LACTAID fat-free milk

1 cup uncooked white jasmine rice

1⁄2 cup sugar

1⁄2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1⁄2 cup raisins

Instructions

Combine milk, rice, sugar and salt in top of a double boiler. Cover and cook over simmering water 1-2 hours or until thickened; stirring occasionally. Can be served hot or cold. Remove from heat and add cinnamon, vanilla and raisins.
