Marion County 4-H Learns All Things Milk

The Dairy Alliance's Jana Miller led a presentation for Marion County 4-H high school students on cow nutrition. Students learned how important cow nutrition is for cows to produce nutrient-rich milk. The class participated in a milking exercise where they learned how to milk a cow. The students also learned about dairy farm practices and sustainability, making connections to the dairy industry that they may otherwise not have.
