Georgia Farm Bureau Feature Dairy At Elementary Educators Workshop

Georgia Farm Bureau hosted an elementary educators workshop for 30 school teachers from all around the state. The teachers toured Hillcrest Farms and White Hills Lavender Farm, watched an example demonstration from the Mobile Dairy Classroom, and received resources to share agricultural education in the classroom from The Dairy Alliance staff. Will McWhirter gave an overview of The Dairy Alliance school nutrition opportunities and Audri Crews highlighted some teacher resources and the Adopt a Cow program. Each teacher received a bag full of The Dairy Alliance goodies to share with their classrooms!
