Dairy Academy Held at Georgia School Nutrition Association Conference

The Dairy Alliance’s Will McWhirter and Cindy Cooper hosted a fun and educational The Dairy Academy pre-conference session at the Georgia School Nutrition Association Conference in Augusta. Academy participants learned about a variety of dairy focused topics such as lactose intolerance, busting dairy myths, school dairy programming, and practical applications to enhance their schools' students' milk experience at mealtimes. This enthusiastic bunch of freshly shaped dairy advocates also got to try Moo Brew iced coffee drinks made with real milk and learn how to blend smoothies made with milk and yogurt for school settings. This was the first time that The Dairy Academy session was conducted in Georgia and hopefully won't be the last!
