2 Bledsoe County Schools Serving Udderly Cold Milk

The Bledsoe County School Nutrition team was hard at work over the summer preparing for the first day of school. With help from The Dairy Alliance, new Udderly Cold milk dispensers were installed at Bledsoe County High School and Bledsoe County Middle School. Students are loving the ice-cold milk. School Nutrition Director Kristy Owens noted that students and teachers are enthusiastic about the refreshing quality of the milk, with many expressing how much they enjoy it. Staff members at both schools have been diligently adapting to the new machines, becoming proficient with their operation and learning more about the benefits of the dispensing system. The schools are seeing an increase in participation among those who didn’t regularly drink milk during service before.
