Carter County Middle Schools Taste Moo Brew

East Carter Middle School students got the opportunity to sample Moo Brew during lunch this week. The food service director reached out to The Dairy Alliance's Matti Coffey, Manager of Youth Wellness, to sample Moo Brew with 7th and 8th grade students, as the school was considering adding the iced coffees made with 8 ounces of real milk to the breakfast menu.

Over 300 students tried the ice-cold Moo Brew with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Students were amazed at how great it tasted and reached out to the director requesting it become a permanent menu item. Due to the success, Carter County will be implementing the program this winter at both of its middle schools. The school system has already seen success with the Moo Brew program at the high school level.
