Byron Middle School Hosts Milk Chugging Contest

A thrilling milk chugging contest on Valentine's Day made the day extra special for students at Byron Middle School of Peach County Schools! Competitions for each of three participating grade levels and a school staff category got students excited about drinking milk and threw a dash of competition and the pursuit of glory into their lunch period. The Dairy Alliance staffer Will McWhirter hosted the milk chugging event and shared dairy nutrition info with Byron Middle's students encouraging them to drink more milk. The event was a great success. The over 400 student spectators enjoyed the competition , especially the prizes shared with contestants.
